Large painting on Cambric cloth installed in the Lane County Historical Museum, Eugene, Oregon. 2007
The painting was made on four panels, each 6 1/2 feet wide by 14 feet high.
The image is the former courthouse clock tower for Lane County. It was razed in the 1950s. The painting required some research and best judgement.
Painting taking shape in the studio. The cloth was mounted on dowels to role up and down. Studio only allowed for two panels at a time so panels had to be managed so they matched up when installed.
A lift was used for the installation. Panels were joined using binding tape.
Painting as it appears at present. Four panels joined. Total size of the mural, 14 feet by 26 feet.
